About MarginMSP

MarginMSP is an independent buyer’s guide for the software MSPs and small IT shops actually bill through: RMM, PSA, EDR/MDR, backup, patch, awareness, DNS, and a thin remote-access layer.

The operator background is hands-on IT and MSP operations — tickets, patch rings, vendor escalations, and QBR decks — not a pure content studio. We keep this page generic on purpose: no personal name, home address, or other PII. The point is the editorial standard, not a personality brand.

What “independent” means here

• We are not a vendor, distributor, or MSP looking to flip your book of business.
• We may join affiliate or partner programs and earn a commission if you buy through links. That is disclosed on every money page and at /disclosure/.
• Rankings and “best” calls are not for sale. If a paid placement ever appears, it will be labeled as advertising.

How a page gets published

Drafts can be written by software. A human has to approve numeric scores, any “winner” language, pricing claims, and any sentence that asserts a security outcome. If you see a draft banner, treat the page as a working outline.

We do not publish fake testimonials, mystery 9.4/10 scores, or logos copied off vendor sites.
